Our members participate in many projects and activities throughout the year. Here is a sample of what we do and the organizations we assist.

Salvation Army
Holiday Bell Ringing
Children's Christmas Gifts (90 gifts in 2011)

Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Racine
Come Fourth for Kids Bell Ringing in June

Memorial Day Parade
Distribute small flags to spectators (2,800 flags in 2011)

Since 1987, we have met monthly with other Kiwanis Clubs. We have over 290 consecutive interclubs on our record.

Spirit Baskets
Members contribute each week  for food baskets for the needy.

The Box
Members contribute weekly for personal milestones, accomplishments, and jokes. When $500 has accumulated, the board votes on a worthy cause for the donation.

Teddy Bears
Teddy bears are donated to the police department for use in crisis situations where children are involved. Officers carry the bears in their squads.

Holy Communion Food Pantry
Members assist the pantry on Mondays and Fridays

Second Grade Hospital Program
$3,000 donated for bus transportation for second graders to visit the hospital 
Several members assist at various stations during the children's orientation.

Racine Unified School District Reality Check Day (sponsored by Educator's Credit Union)
Members assist at various stations (26 volunteers in 2011).

Taste of Racine fundraiser for Family Service Organization
Members assist in the ticket booth at the Racine Zoo on Labor Day.

Dr. Seuss's Birthday
Several members volunteer to read to preschoolers on this special day.

Several members volunteer weekly at schools and other locations to assist students with assignments and other school activities.
